What type of extensions is best for you?

Below is a short description of each type of extension I offer, as well as a average price range for each type. KERATIN TIPS (ex. Great Lengths)

These Keratin protein tips have a silicone additive and are applied with a high frequency machine to safely adhere to the hair. The strands are protected from damage by creating a coating on the hair while being attached. The small bonds allow for free and natural movement. These bonds can be customized to the smallest size making them able to be virtually undetectable. This method is water resistant and can be used on any hair type.

Maintenance: None (last 3-5 months then a brand new set is applied)

I-TIPS

I-Tip Extensions are installed using strand by strand application for maximum versatility and movement. The polyurethane I-Tip acts as a cushion for the natural hair while the high quality copper beads hold them in place. This method does not use any heat or glue and is water and sweat resistant. The tips can also come in micro sizes for finer hair guests making them a great choice for almost anyone. Hair last 6-9 months.

Maintenance: Move-up every 6-8 weeks

Bead replacement move-up every 12-16 weeks

Volume Only $450-600+

Move-up Cost: $150/hour

WEFTS

This method using silicone lined copper beads to create the base or foundation to then sew the weft of hair to the head using a nylon thread. There are different types of wefts that can be used depending on your natural hair the desired end result. No heat or adhesive is used in this method. Typical volume only install is done on one row. For volume and length, two rows are used. Handtied and volume wefts typically last 6-9months. Kacey Welch silk wefts last 12+ months.

Maintenance: Move-up every 8-10 weeks
